Uzi Breaks Fiberglass During Cockfight

A Facebook user posted this video of a game fowl aptly named Uzi that broke the fiberglass near his corner while trying to finish off his opponent.

The sheer force of Uzi’s attack stunned the spectators, the sentenciador and the commentator in the fight. It was a quick kill by Uzi, which is somewhat expected from a rooster of his caliber.

    Not fiberglass…tempered glass.

  2. Jessie says:

Maybe it’s time to use real fiberglass in cockpit arenas. The safety of spectators is important.

  3. Jm says:

Problem is, spectators may not get a clear view of the fight if they will use real fiberglass.

I think double laminated glass could do just fine.

    got my info from wiki

“Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic “spider web” cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass. In the case of the EVA, the thermoset EVA, offers a complete bounding (cross-linking) with the material whether it is glass, polycarbonate, P.E.T. or other types products.”

same material use on your car’s wind screen, but for safety concern you can also review the wikipage linked (

“Plastic interlayers in laminated glass make its cutting difficult. There is an unsafe practice of cutting both sides separately, pouring a flammable liquid such as denatured alcohol into the crack, and igniting it to melt the interlayer to separate the pieces. The following safer methods were recommended by the UK Government’s Health and Safety Executive in 2005:[19]”

IMO – i do not know if there is such production of fiberglass that provide that much clarity, which i probably google that later. the commentator might use the wrong term here, my common sense rooting it as tempered glass but i am pretty sure that its both safe for the arena and the patrons. for the article itself i think it not wrong to quote the commentator, if they state it was a tempered glass and another person comes in and say the commentator said it was fiber. then we will still have this discussion.

    Just my opinion hehe

  5. Jessie says:

Yeah i think double laminated glass will be safe for the fans. I think uzi can break any kind of glass except bulletproof glass hahahaha

  6. Jessie says:

I think the backboard in professional basketball is made of fiberglass. Cock can shatter them, i mean shaq
