American Egg Board (AEB) President and CEO Anne L. Alonzo had a positive vibe following a recent trade mission to Mexico with the United States of America Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) and some leading U.S. egg producers.
“I’m thrilled with the market understandings and relationships established during our trade mission,” Alonzo said.
Delegates from the U.S. poultry industry met with the Mexican egg industry leaders and officials from U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara.
Alonzo is optimistic that the meeting will promote the health benefits of eggs to more people in the region.
“As we become better educated about export markets around the world, AEB and USAPEEC will be able to provide even more value to U.S. egg producers,” said Alonzo.
