United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has announced the revocation of import ban of Bulgarian poultry.
This was reported after the World Organization for Animal Health released a memorandum regarding the status of Bulgaria as a bird flu free country. Bulgaria has exerted effort in cleaning up their farms by implementing a 25-km buffer zone for affected farms in October 2017.
Included in the allowable importation are live and wild ornamental birds, chicks, and hatching eggs.
Bulgaria has welcomed the development and would go with agreement to finally export their poultry products to UAE.
