The Provincial Veterinary Office has reported that there was a slight increase of prices on poultry in the region on March 6.
Poultry price has increased P0.5 per kilogram. From P167.60 per kilogram, it is now at P167.65. Provincial Veterinarian Renante Decena said that the increase of price is due to movement of poultry between regions. He also noted that the price would vary in between places.
Meanwhile, the price of pork has also increased a significant P2 per kilogram. From P212.83, it is now at P214.90 per kilogram.
Chicken remains the cheapest choice of meat. It is also healthiest than other kinds of red meat.
