Bird flu clearance were given to each poultry farm by the Department of Agriculture that passed the 35-day monitoring period.
In August 2017, farms in Pampanga were stricken by the bird flu virus, the first in two decades. This prompted the DA to issue a 7-km quarantine zone around the farms affected.
The farms were cleared in October 2017. Problems arise in December after dead birds were found in poultry farms.
Supply of poultry was not affected during the holiday season.
