The Provincial Veterinary Office has released an announcement for their upcoming project to facilitate poultry backyard raisers.
Facility will be build in Negros Occidental that aims to process dressed chickens. Currently, there is no after farm processing for the dressed poultry.
It will cost the government P50M. It would be a great help for poultry farmers, especially to small backyard raisers.
Additionally, it would encourage people to do backyard raising of chickens.
“Once the Capitol-run dressing plant is operational, it would not only augment the three existing facilities but also provide cheaper cost for the poultry growers,” Veterinarian Officer Decena said
