Kenya Lifts Ugandan Poultry Ban

The Kenyan government has lifted the ban on Ugandan poultry after complying with clearances on viral diseases.

For 15 months, poultry products from Uganda were prohibited to enter Kenya due to avian influenza cases. After more than a year, Uganda is safe to assume that they have completely eliminated any virus left in poultry farms.

Assessment were also made by Kenya to make sure that it is safe to import poultry from Uganda again.
