A former game fowl farm caretaker in Quezon has stole 80 game fowls worth P800,000.
The police reported that Edgardo Abustan, owner of Lucban Game Farm complained that he lost 30 game fowls worth P20,000 each ready for fighting and 40 two month old roosters valued at P5,000 each.
A friend has informed Abustan about his game fowls being sold in a nearby town by his former caretaker, Reynaldo de la Cruz. Abustan conducted an inventory and found out that 70 cocks went missing.
Police says that Reynaldo de la Cruz fled after learning their inspection proceedings in the market.
