Canadian PM Visits Jollibee in Winnipeg

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently paid a visit to the newly-opened Jollibee branch in Winnipeg, Canada.

According to the Canadian embassy in the Philippines, Trudeau was in a cross-country tour when he visited Jollibee Winnipeg last Thursday (January 26) and gamely posed for photos with the staff and customers of the store.

The Winnipeg branch recently opened in December 2016 to cater Canadians and more than 700,000 Filipinos living in Canada. It made headlines after hundreds braved subzero temperatures t lineup during its opening.

Jollibee is one of the largest fast-food restaurants in the world with around 3,000 stores worldwide.
